Quality assurance
The goods that arrive match the sample you approved.
That is the whole commitment, and everything below exists to make it true: three fixed inspection gates, AQL sampling, in-house material testing and an audit report issued before we book the container.
The process
Three gates between raw material and sealed carton.
Each gate has a written checklist and a named owner. A batch that fails does not advance — it is reworked or scrapped, and the reason is logged against the order.
Incoming material inspection
Every leather, foam, textile and latex lot is checked against the purchase specification for thickness, weight, tensile strength and colour before it is released to production.
In-line process control
Line supervisors sample at fixed intervals — stitch density, seam strength, foam density, weight and balance — so a drifting process is caught within the shift, not at final audit.
Pre-shipment audit
Finished goods are sampled to AQL 2.5 for general defects and AQL 1.5 for critical ones. Cartons are drop-tested and the audit report ships with the consignment.
Testing
What actually gets measured.
Testing is done on our own bench, on every production run — not once at product launch and never again.
Sampling
Published AQL levels.
We sample to ISO 2859-1 general inspection level II. These are the acceptance levels we work to by default — tighter levels are available on request and quoted accordingly.
| Defect class | Level | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Critical defects | AQL 1.5 | Anything affecting safety or fitness for purpose — grille failure, seam burst, bladder leak. |
| Major defects | AQL 2.5 | Visible faults a buyer would reject — off-spec weight, colour mismatch, missing branding. |
| Minor defects | AQL 4.0 | Cosmetic issues that do not affect function — light surface marks, minor thread ends. |
Compliance
Evidence, not assurances.
Everything below produces a document you can file, show to a customer, or hand to an auditor.
Golden sample control
Every order is produced against a signed pre-production sample that is retained by both parties for the life of the programme.
Third-party inspection
We work routinely with SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek and TÜV. Book your own inspector; our QA team hosts and provides the line data.
Material declarations
REACH, phthalate and azo-dye declarations issued for garments, latex and moulded goods where the destination market requires them.
Documented traceability
Every carton carries a batch code that traces back to the material lot, production line and inspection record.
Retained samples
Two units from every production run are retained for twelve months against any post-shipment query.
Audit reports with the shipment
The pre-shipment inspection report is issued before booking, not after — so a hold decision is still yours to make.
